The WILD Side of Natural Beauty

Sometimes we need to step out of our comfort zone, to be bold and daring!

For one that may be testing that new redder than red lipstick out in public.

For another it may be wearing that amazing new mascara out and being mistaken for wearing falsies.

It might be the sparkly new eye shadow when you haven't worn eye shadow since the blue days of the 80's...

Whatever that new thing is, for some it's a major hurdle.  Maybe that woman has been toying with the red lipstick for weeks but it's such a change for her that she's nervous.  She wants to do something for her, but doesn't want to be judged.

Is the secret to all makeup that it should look like you're not wearing any?  Who remembers that statement??

Detox?

It has reached the time of year that I begin to think about detoxing from my holiday eating bad habits.  Not only do I FEEL better after a week or so of a detox, but I notice I LOOK better too!  Natural beauty at its best, detoxed!!

I've successfully done a detox once a year for 7 years, but then the last 2 years my body really struggles (muscle cramping, nerve pain) so I'm trying something new and with more nutritional value this year.

It's bubbly! I had the rejuvenating feeling of oxygenation happening all over my face.  I felt effervescent!  The charcoal and bark extracts and stem powders that give this mask it's black look smelled great! No funny odors at all.  Even better, when I accidentally (and very sadly!) knocked my jar of mask to the floor it cleaned off of ceramic tile and pale grout easily with water - leaving NO STAINS!!

Thankfully, this IS NOT a peel-off mask.  After letting it rest on my face for 5 minutes, it wiped off easily with a wash cloth and would have rinsed off like a dream in the shower.  My skin felt refreshed and incredibly cleaned.  My deepest pores were unclogged!  Those oxygen bubbles got deeply into all of them.
